Leggett & Platt® announced the launch of its new website, Leggett.com. The Leggett & Platt creative team’s goal was to update the look and content of the furnishings manufacturer’s site and to create an adequate reflection of the professionalism and competency of the various Leggett & Platt divisions.

What evolved from this process is a unique representation of Leggett & Platt. Tom Hawkins, Leggett & Platt Web Development Director, said, “We are very pleased with the transformation of Leggett.com. To raise the bar high during development, our team benchmarked several of the top 20 companies. We are extremely excited by the results.”

While presenting a professional, corporate image, the design team humanized the Leggett & Platt company and story with photos and videos of Leggett & Platt employees. In doing so, Leggett & Platt boldly presents the history and value of their quality-built designs and products.

“One of the very obvious ways that we honor the history of the company is by our name,” said David Haffner, President and CEO. “Leggett & Platt. A very simple name. The direct result of two brothers-in-law with a really good idea – mixed in with honesty, integrity, commitment to the customer, and a plan to provide a really good place to work. And that business plan is alive and well today nearly 130 years later.”

Whether a future employee or a future customer visits Leggett.com, they will be clearly directed to the information most valuable to them. The new website is easier to navigate, and content is well organized. Leggett & Platt product and segment pages have been updated with impacting images and bold headlines that express the values and benefits of working with the Leggett & Platt team. Overall, the new website communicates a clean, updated Leggett & Platt brand – one that adequately expresses the future successes of the company.
