Dave Lane To Be Honored Saturday Honored Saturday Night Of SF Winter Market

The Western Home Furnishings Association Board of Directors and Event Committee is pleased announced a benefit event to honor the achievements and contributions of WHFA’s Long-time Executive Director, Dave Lane. The black tie optional event will be held January 19, 2002, at the Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental Hotel, San Francisco, with the reception beginning at 6:30pm, dinner at 7:30pm. Individual tickets and group tables will be pre-sold through the WHFA office at $150 per seat or a table of 8 for $1,000. All proceeds from the event will be presented to The Parkinsons Institute the night of the event. Dave Lane was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease in early 2001 and will be retiring from WHFA in January 2002. His successor has already been selected and will be announced in early December 2001. "An Evening to Remember" benefit dinner event is currently sponsored in part by the Western Home Furnishings Association, the California Furniture Manufacturers Association and the San Francisco Furniture Market.
