Bob Hellyer Named Executive Vice President of Sales and New Brand Development, Simmons Company

In a move to re-energize the National Account sales force, Contract Division, and New Brand Development, Simmons Company has charged Bob Hellyer with leading the way as Executive Vice President of Sales and New Brand Development. In this newly created position, Hellyer will set strategic selling direction for Simmons and fuel the sales activities of the general managers and regional vice presidents of Sales. Hellyer will also assist with Simmons' endeavors to continue new brand development through acquisitions and internal growth based on the strategic long-range plans of the company. Prior to this step up, Hellyer held the positions of Janesville Plant General Manager and then Janesville Plant Vice President of Sales, where he and his team consecutively won Simmons' coveted Quality Assurance award five years in a row.
