Larry Parnell, former President of Oakwood Interiors Passes

Larry Parnell, former President of Oakwood Interiors, passed away at his home in Fort Scott, KS on January 26, 2005. Mr. Parnell had battled cancer for the last five years and had exceeded the doctor's predictions for his survival time by almost three years. He was a pillar in the furniture industry, an active member and past president of the California Furniture Manufacturer's Association and an expert and enthusiastic marketer of the Oakwood Interiors furniture brand. He is survived by his wife Judy, her sister Jay, four children and four grandchildren. A trust fund is being established to help his surviving family.
