106 Year Old Denver Store Davis & Shaw Conducts Successful GOB Sale

Davis & Shaw, a 106 year old, fine quality retail furniture store located at 1434 Champs Street in Denver, is bringing to an end a long standing retailing tradition. The owners, Jon Jessop, Cindy Pate Jessop and Richard Pate, III have sold their historic six story building and will be closing their store at the conclusion of a Going Out of Business Sale. "We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with the people of Denver and surrounding areas for over 100 years, providing high-end merchandise and impeccable service to many of Colorado's finest families" said Mr. Jessop. "But, the time has come to close our store as we had the opportunity to sell our building." A Going Out of Business Sale began Tuesday, August 2nd and is being coordinated by a professional sales promotion specialist, the Daniel Lynch Sales Company. "We expect tremendous crowds during the Sale because prices will be quite appealing in order to hasten the end as quickly and profitably as possible," said Chris Lynch, Co-CEO of Daniel Lynch Sales Company.
