Kitty Bartholomew launched her television decorating career on ABC-TV's The Home Show. During her 6-year stint as the resident interior designer and decorating correspondent, she led her viewers on countless decorating adventures and even built a house from the ground up in 5 months by working side by side with contractors and trades people. Kitty hosted her own show called "Kitty Bartholomew: You're Home" on HGTV for 8 years, as well as a number of HGTV's most popular specials. She's created specials for PBS, on topics such as "Earthquake Safety," and is a favorite on "Oprah" - she'll be included in Oprah's anniversary DVD series "Best of Oprah," coming out this fall. She's a frequent and sought-after lecturer, delighting audiences all over the country and on the high seas, as a guest lecturer on the QE2 and Coral Princess ships. Her passion for color has led her to develop an expertise and one of her most popular lecture topics is "How color can have a positive impact on your life." Fans all over the country have enjoyed hearing her insights. In addition, Kitty serves on the advisory board of the CaliforniaDesign College, and her enthusiastic energy has made her a popular choice as spokesman for many home furnishing/consumer goods and services. Recently, Cindy was selected to participate in the first HGTV Designers’ Challenge to be filmed in Las Vegas. Three designers presented their plans to a local homeowner who then selected one of the designers to execute their plan. Cindy’s plan was selected and the completed project recently aired on HGTV.
