300,000 Square Foot Facility in Southern California to Open Spring 2013; Additional Capacity Expected to Enable Standard Two-Day Ground Shipping to 90% of Customers
Hayneedle, the online destination to find everything home, announced the leasing of 300,000 square feet of distribution and fulfillment space in Southern California, bringing the company’s total to approximately 900,000 square feet. The new distribution center, located at 6860 Sycamore Canyon Blvd. in the community of Riverside, just east of Los Angeles, will open in the spring of 2013.
The expansion to the West Coast marks Hayneedle’s first regional distribution and fulfillment facility. The company expects the majority of the hiring will begin in early 2013.
