“Loyal customers, they don’t just come back, they don’t simply recommend you, they insist that their friends do business with you.”
- Chip Bell
This is the Tenth in a series or excerpts from a new book by retail furniture store design and planning experts Lou Kief and Bill Walls titled, "Doing Retail Right", a new book available from the major online booksellers in print and e-reader formats. For more information on this book, or to order, visit www.DoingRetailRight.com.
If you’ve been doing retail right you already have a growing army of people who have bought from you and clearly enjoyed the experience.
Nothing has the power to sell like a person who has had an exceptional experience with your business. Their personal enthusiasm adds a dynamic that makes others listen and believe. You cannot purchase this type of advertising. You have to EARN it over and over every day when you unlock the door and turn on the lights.
Media based advertising is expensive. Going out of your way to keep faithful customers doesn’t cost much more than the time spent expressing your appreciation. The results are priceless.
Remember: No one can sell for you like a happy customer.
