Country Home Furniture, located at Shady Maple in Lancaster County, announced that it has recently added four new product lines to its showroom.
Two bedrooms and two dinettes have been added to the retailer’s 30,000 sq ft floors.
A management spokesperson for the retailer stated, “Spring is a great time for additions. It serves us well to get some fresh new looks on the floor this time of year.”
The two dinettes come from an American handcrafted specialist in Millersburg, Ohio.
The bedrooms featured are a contemporary bedroom from a Midvale, Ohio factory, and a traditional canopy bedroom from an Amish bedroom builder in Elkhart, Indiana.
“All four styles are distinctly different from each other. A traditional leg table best suited in medium-dark cherry, a pedestal table meant for the contemporary dinette seeker, a canopy bedroom that is traditional but traditional with flair, and a newly designed, ultra contemporary bedroom really meant to be two-toned with some personalization of colors involved.”
Country Home Furniture features two floors, and offers as many 60 North American made vendors at a time.
The store is reporting sales were up in January and February by 17% and 38%, respectively.
“Some of that is certainly the economy, and another part is the fresh new looks we are offering, which comes from the ingenuity of our vendors. The ideas and the styles coming from American made furniture R&D engineers are second to none. What we have added this time around is no exception.”
Shady Maple is centrally located on the Lancaster, Chester and Berks borders, and is within a short driving distance of Philadelphia.
