Carolina Mattress Guild Names Scott Piper To General Manager Position

Bedding industry veteran Scott Piper has been named the General Manager of Thomasville-based manufacturer Carolina Mattress Guild.

In this newly created position, Piper’s responsibilities will include the creation and implementation of new corporate initiatives and strategies, including procurement, assembly, service support and general manufacturing projects. He will report directly to Carolina Mattress Guild CEO, Neal Grigg.

Prior to joining Carolina Mattress Guild, Piper spent 26 years at Sealy in a variety of roles ranging from Director of Marketing for Specialty Bedding to Vice President of Product Merchandising to, most recently, Vice President of New Product Development.
