Reverie Appoints Former Delphi Exec Its Vice President Of Operations

Reverie, the leading manufacturer of innovative adjustable beds, named Ronald (“Ron”) Leong its vice president of operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance, procurement, warehousing and distribution, customer service and North American manufacturing. Leong will report to Reverie President and Chief Executive Officer Martin Rawls-Meehan.

Leong is a seasoned sales and operations management leader with more than 25 years experience in similar roles with leading corporations. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing at Innovative Health Services of America, leading business development and customer relationship initiatives. Prior to that position, Leong served as chief operating officer of ATSI Engineering Services, an engineering consulting firm, where he led a team of professional engineers, technicians and designers, providing consulting services to industrial, manufacturing and municipal clients. Before ATSI, Leong spent 20 years in multiple sales and operations management positions at Delphi Corp., a global supplier of automotive technologies, in its thermal systems division.

Leong received his bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991. In 1994, he was chosen for the prestigious General Motors Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin where he received dual master’s degrees in manufacturing systems engineering, and operations and technology management.

He currently resides in East Amherst, NY with his wife and three children.
