Therapedic International To Introduce “AgilityAir” Collection

In response to the constantly growing consumer and retailer demand for products offering heightened airflow, top 10 bedding producer Therapedic International said it is showcasing its AgilityAir collection at the upcoming High Point Furniture Market, Oct. 18th-23rd. The line, including three SKUs in visco, gel visco and latex options, is a sub brand in Therapedic’s popular Agility collection that uses enhanced components that significantly boost airflow and comfort.

AgilityAir is made of a combination of high-density foams, cooling gel memory foam, latex, pocketed coils and varying combinations of mini-pocket and micro-mini pocket coils. Each of the three SKUs in the collection are made with a convoluted reticulated foam support layer, which is 100 percent air-permeable and enhances airflow by 43-percent over regular, flat foams. One of the enhancements in the line is the use of mini and micro-mini pocket coils that are wrapped in a perforated, three-way stretch encased fabric, allowing for even better airflow and increased comfort throughout the bed. A unique innovation, the mattresses in the lineup also include perforations in the side support rails to increase air circulation.

All models in the collection have a convoluted, reticulated foam support layer. The Windward model features a 2-inch visco-foam layer and a single layer of perforated micro and mini-micro coils. The Freshscent model adds a 2-inch gel layer in addition to perforated micro and mini-micro coil layers. The top model in the collection, Oceanbreeze, includes a 2-inch latex layer with double micro and mini-micro coil layers.
