If you are selling lift chairs, add some romance. You won't get far selling the way medical equipment retailers do.
According to a report by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) almost 19% of the entire United States will be over the age of 65 by 2023.
In marketing to the Baby Boomer Generation products that we know they need and want, it is important to make sure you call them out by name and write your advertisement specifically about them and their needs.
Baby Boomers do not want to admit to getting older. It is a generation used to having it all and they will not consider the fact that age will slow them down. So if you sell a lift chair to them, do not sell it the way medical equipment retailers sell it as a way to help old folks out of their seats. Rather, this lift chair needs to be romanced to a Baby Boomer so they see it is actually a power recliner that so happens to have the benefit of a lift mechanism to help the Baby Boomer out of their sitting position onto their feet without extra wear and tear on the knees or hips.
