ASFD 2015 Spring Event to Feature Furnitureland South President Jeff Harris

The American Society of Furniture Designers announced that Jeff Harris, President of Furnitureland South will be give a talk at ASFD's upcoming dinner event that will be held during the High Point Market on April 20, 2015 at The String and Splinter, High Point’s City Club.
Sharing innovative tips on organizing schedules, getting the most of networking and having fun in the furniture industry all are topics to be covered by Harris at the ASFD 2015 Spring Event.
In addition to Harris’ talk, the evening will feature a meet-and-greet for students, a reception, awards and dinner. It will take place
Harris learned the family’s furniture business from the ground up and, upon graduation from High Point University, joined the sales team. He also is co-founder of The Design Network, a broadband, all-screens network that aligns the best designers, architects, furniture purveyors, video producers and home enthusiasts to offer inspirational, instructional and entertaining videos about home design and fashion.
Prior to dinner, representatives of the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD) and the Bienenstock Furniture Library will present the Furniture Design Winner of the 2015 Student Design Contest and the winner of the 2015 ASFD Merit Scholarship.
The evening will also highlight musical performances by Greensboro’s own Nishah DiMeo, the 2014 vocalist of the N.C. Coltrane All-Star Band featured in the John Coltrane International Jazz & Blues Festival.
