The Children’s Museum, located in London, Ontario recently received a $45,000 donation from Tepperman’s, to celebrate the retailers's "90th Anniversary of Giving".

Noah Tepperman, Secretary/ Treasurer & Director of Public & Community Relations, says, “From an early age, my brother Andrew and I were taught that it was our responsibility to give back to the communities that have supported us and to help ensure that children are given as many opportunities as possible. We’re so proud to continue that legacy with today’s donation.”

Andrew Tepperman, President, adds “As part of our 90th anniversary of giving, our families and our entire team are honoured to partner with the London Children’s Museum and support the creative activities they offer, enriching young lives with education and discovery.”

The Children’s Museum is a place where children learn how the world works, who they are and what they might become – all through play. This leadership commitment from Tepperman’s to the Children’s Museum new Capital Campaign will support the interactive and innovative play offered at the new Children’s Museum.

“The Children’s Museum is where families go to dream and play and where children gather to learn and grow,” says Amanda Conlon, Executive Director at the Children’s Museum. “Tepperman’s generous donation will inspire and enable creativity, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning at the Children’s Museum for years to come.”

About the London Children’s Museum: Positioned at the heart of the arts, cultural and educational communities, the London Children’s Museum has been providing positive, hands-on learning experiences to children and families since 1975. Every year, nearly 90,000 visitors participate in school education programs, workshops, day camps, self-guided visits and more.

Tepperman’s Furniture, Mattress, Electronics and Appliances: Tepperman's is a full service family owned and operated furniture, mattress, appliance and electronics retailer serving Southwestern Ontario, with locations in Windsor, London, Chatham and Sarnia.

On Friday, March 13, Tepperman’s announced a donation of $29,250 in scholarships to mark its 90th Anniversary within the communities that have supported what has grown to become one of the largest independent home furnishings retailers in Canada. This amount tops nearly $600,000 previously invested in post-secondary education during the past 18 years. Additional community investments will be announced shortly as part of the anniversary celebrations.
