E.S. Kluft & Company, maker and distributor of the Aireloom and Kluft brand luxury mattresses and subsidiary of Flex Group of Spain, announced that Laurent Boilly has joined the company in the newly created position vice president of international sales. Boilly, who speaks French, English and Spanish, brings 25 years of international sales management experience to Kluft. He will be responsible for expanding the Kluft and Aireloom brands outside of North America.

Boilly joins Kluft from luxury interior and home accessories textile label, Etoffee Makara, where as general manager/sales and marketing director he developed an international sales focus that expanded the company’s markets into China, Taiwan, Brunei, Canada, Latin America and the Middle East. Prior to Etoffee, he was international market development manager for APA – The Engineered Wood, where he was responsible for residential and furniture markets in Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri-Lanka. Earlier in his career, he was marketing and sales manager for Remy Martin Corée.

“Our brands have always been sought after for our superior American-made brand heritage. Laurent, given his strong contacts and understanding of key international markets, will help propel and lead our growth outside of North America,” said E.S. Kluft & Company Chief Executive Officer David Binke.

Boilly earned his masters of business administration degree from Illinois State University, where he majored in marketing and a bachelor’s of science degree from Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers in France, where he majored in international business.

He and his family will reside in the greater Los Angeles area.

E.S. Kluft & Company, a subsidiary of Flex Group of Spain, acquired the Aireloom brand in 2004, produces a broad range of luxury mattresses from California and Pennsylvania facilities to more than 350 doors in the United States and internationally.

Kluft is the company’s most luxurious brand and sells almost exclusively in Bloomingdale’s. The plan now is to roll-out the Kluft brand internationally, positioning it as the iconic American luxury bed. Aireloom is the company’s moderate luxury range, has just been rebranded and offers artisanal quality and legacy features such as hand-tied coils and hand side-stitching. The company’s lines feature the most advanced patented designs as well as the highest quality materials.
