Designer Of The Year Award Recipients Announced By Interior Design Society

The Interior Design Society (IDS) announced award recipients for its fifth annual Designer of the Year competition yesterday evening. The awards were presented by Jennifer Bertrand during a gala at IDS National Conference on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center.

Bertrand won HGTV “Design Star” season three and hosted “Paint Over! with Jennifer Bertrand.” She has appeared in countless media outlets such as USA Today, The New York Post, Rachel Ray Magazine, Life & Style Magazine, InStyle Magazine and is a frequent contributor to NBC. She was joined on stage for the awards presentation by Bruce Knott, President, IDS National Board of Directors and Snoa Garrigan, Executive Director of IDS.

“We warmly congratulate all those who received awards,” said Snoa Garrigan, Executive Director.” IDS is proud to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Designer of the Year Awards, which received a record number of entries this year.”

The award recipients were selected by an expert panel of judges that included Deb Barrett, Mitzi Beach, Leslie Carothers, Patti Carpenter, Tobi Fairley, Susan Inglis, Joe Ruggiero, Barbara Viteri, Jackie Von Tobel and Amy Wax.
