Steve Glucksman Rejoins Art Van Furniture

Retail industry executive Steve Glucksman returned to Art Van Furniture, on July 1 as vice president, real estate, franchising and new business development. The announcement was made by Art Van Elslander, founder and chairman of Art Van Furniture, and Kim Yost, CEO of Art Van Furniture.

Glucksman, who has over 25 years of industry experience, previously served as senior vice president of strategic business development and store operations at Art Van Furniture from December 2009 to January 2014. In his new role, Glucksman will focus his attention on new store and franchise growth opportunities. He left Art Van Furniture in January 2014 to join Ashley Furniture as executive vice president of stores and licensed operations under its Ashley Furniture HomeStores division.
"I am ecstatic to welcome Steve back home to Art Van Furniture, especially at a time when our expansion throughout the Midwest is in full swing,” said Van Elslander. “Steve is uniquely qualified. His deep knowledge and understanding of our company, our culture and our vision for the future allows him to jump in feet first to help us lead this charge.”

John Wyatt, vice president, store environment and development, will focus exclusively on store design, construction, property management and visual merchandising.
