Fabelli Group Introduces New Entertainment Center and Case Goods Lines

Furniture World News Desk on 8/6/2015

Fabelli Group, the Italian maker of high-quality but affordably priced designer furniture, announced that it is introducing two new lines: A group of contemporary Entertainment Centers and a collection of Case Goods that takes a radical approach to offering new colors and finishes. The Entertainment Centers feature a modular design that enables the owner to achieve a wide variety of setup configurations. Both lines offer unique finishes, including laminates and flawless lacquer.

“Every element of a piece of furniture counts when it comes to quality, but the finish is what people see,” said Alberto Ghiandoni. “For us, the finish is the final perfection we add to solid construction and innovative design.”

Fabelli’s new Entertainment Centers come in eight harmonized new colors and finishes, including yellow, blue and taupe. The Centers can be set up in numerous different configurations to suit entertainment hardware choices and room layouts. They come in modular pieces, which enable owners to create multiple in single colors. Or, they can utilize different component pieces to create unique designs. Almost all component pieces are interchangeable and can be placed vertically or horizontally on a wall. The modular approach makes it possible to accommodate virtually any sized television set. Some of the lacquer or wood finish doors on the Centers can also be replaced by glass doors that do not interfere with infrared remotes controls.

The Entertainment Centers come in finishes made either of high-quality laminates or lacquer. Italian furniture makers are renowned as the best at lacquer applications of anyone in the world. Fabelli manufactures its case goods under a 100% automated application process using the most advanced technology. The unassembled furniture panels go on a conveyor belt through a totally dust-free tunnel environment and receive the lacquer coating and go through a curing process. Manufacturers in other regions of the world do not always follow this type of automated process and end up with lacquer with uneven surfaces, ripples, waves and other small imperfections.

The Case Goods line delivers unique colors for the customer. The pieces are made out of wood products, lacquer and glass sheets, offering a designer product and unique look. In aesthetic terms, the Case Goods depart from the traditional high gloss lacquer and focus on a lacquered glass finish instead, achieving a very high end designer look. Currently, Fabelli only sells by direct containers from Italy to American retailers. However, the company enables customers to order numerous different styles and SKUs in a single container. Furniture dealers are allowed to mix and match all products, including the new Entertainment Centers. Fabelli also offers consolidated container programs in which several customers can share a container.
