STORIS’ VP of Client Services Recognized At WithIt Awards

STORIS recently announced that their Vice President of Client Services, Marilyn Durning has been nominated for the WithIt WOW Award for Leadership. The annual award recognizes business leaders nominated by their peers who have contributed to the success of the home furnishings industry and have demonstrated significant impact on their companies and the industry. WithIt has presented these awards since 1999.

Marilyn began her career at STORIS in 1993, starting as a Systems Technician. She has continually taken on new endeavors and is now responsible for the daily client operations associated with the Client Advocacy, Consulting Services, Product Services and Systems Departments.

Marilyn has accomplished a lot for our client services department including consistently shattering the industry average of 2 year tenure with our average tenure of 10 years. She credits the team’s success to providing our employees opportunity to grow their careers here at STORIS.

WithIt presented its 2016 WOW Awards during a dinner and reception event on Friday, April 15, at High Point Market. Members of the STORIS team joined her at the WOW Awards Ceremony where Doug Culmone honored Marilyn with a heartfelt speech. We all are proud to have Marilyn as a positive role model for women in
the industry.
