IFDA Educational Foundation Announces Scholarship Winners

The Educational Foundation of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) recently announced the winners of its 2016 scholarships. IFDA judges reviewed 62 applications from 34 schools in 22 states including Hawaii. The winners are:

  • Leaders Commemorative Scholarship—$1500
    Ardilla Deneys - Virginia Commonwealth University - Richmond, VA

  • Part Time Student Scholarship—$1500
    Callan Gaines - Winthrop University - Rock Hill, SC

  • IFDA Student Member Scholarship—$2000
    Caroline Kasmiskie - Georgia Southern University - Statesboro, GA

  • Vercille Voss Graduate Student Scholarship—$2000
    Jessie Santini - Chatham University - Pittsburgh, PA

  • Ruth Clark Furniture Design Scholarship—$3000
    Katrina Duperree - Edinboro University of Pennsylvania - Edinboro, PA

  • Tricia LeVangie Green Sustainable Design Scholarship—$1500
    Amanda Waryasz - Wentworth Institute of Technology - Boston, MA

  • Window Fashions Certified Professional Fast Track Scholarship
    Ying Cai - Lawrence Technological University - Southfield, MI



More about the Educational Foundation: The Educational Foundation is the philanthropic and educational branch of IFDA. It actively supports a variety of learning opportunities to undergraduate and re-entering students as well as to professionals seeking to enhance skills.
