Imab Group reports that it is set to debut ‘My Youth’ – a collection of youth bedroom furnishings for school-age kids – in the company’s new showroom during October High Point Market, in space IHFC D-1034.

The vertically integrated, Italy-based manufacturer is a global distributor of bedroom furniture, with 12 manufacturing facilities covering 1.6M square feet. Imab Group ships over 500 units daily to more than 4,500 retail customers worldwide, including Europe’s largest retail chains.

This is Imab Group’s first foray into the U.S. marketplace, according to Luigi Nocchi, president, Imab America.

“For many decades, Imab Group has been a trusted bedroom furnishings resource to furniture dealers around the world,” says Nocchi, a 20-year furnishings veteran who has held a variety of U.S.-based positions, including with leather specialist Natuzzi. “With the youth category being one of the top growth segments, it’s an ideal time for the company’s U.S. introduction at High Point Market.”

Almost 70 SKUs in three contemporary and traditional style groups mark the fall debut.

  • A contemporary group with a camouflage design theme is made up of 25 SKUs.

  • A Scandinavian design with 26 SKUs features a light wood finish.

  • A solid white and pale pink offering consists of two bedroom models in 18 SKUs.

Each product group consists of four basic pieces: a bed, nightstand, armoire or dresser with mirror and a desk. Beds are available in both Twin and Full sizes.

The ‘My Youth’ collection was designed specifically for U.S. customers and is produced in Italy. Imab Group employs a robust renewable energy program in their operations, which additionally supports the company’s commitment to competitive pricing. An inventory management program called Pronto is also available to dealers.
