Vaughan-Bassett Partners With Furniture First For Artisan & Post Line

Furniture First has recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with case goods manufacturer Vaughan-Bassett for their Artisan & Post Collection. “We are extremely excited to have this opportunity to partner with Vaughan-Bassett. We look forward to a long relationship,” said Dino Cifelli, CEO of Furniture First upon the announcement.
Furniture First has already begun to implement a plan to announce the program to their members and encourage them to visit the Vaughan-Bassett showroom at the High Point Market. “We were hoping we would have this done before Market, so we held off on finalizing some of our printed materials,” said Andrew Kauffman, COO of Furniture First. He commented that the group’s digital media has already been updated and that the response from the membership has been tremendous. “I have had a few calls today already from members planning to add Vaughan-Bassett to their market lists. They are really excited to see us partner with company with such a strong feel-good story behind it,” said Kauffman in reference to the success of Factory Man, a book recounting how Vaughan-Bassett chairman John Bassett III steered his family’s company through tough times and competition from imports.

Vaughan Bassett will be introducing two new solid wood bedroom collections and their first solid wood dining room collection at this October’s High Point Market. Bassett commented that the new introductions will more than double the size of their Artisan & Post division.
