Furniture World News Desk on 9/12/2017

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation recently issued a last call for ads for its annual Induction Journal to publicly honor the 2017 Hall of Fame inductees. The deadline for submitting materials is September 15, 2017.

“Personal recognition in the Induction Journal is the perfect way for business partners, colleagues and companies throughout the industry to celebrate Donald Flanders, Vladimir Kagan, Samuel Kuo and Bernard Moray with special messages that will be meaningful for them and their families for years to come,” says Bob Maricich, president of the Foundation board of directors. “The Journal will be a beautiful keepsake of an inspirational and entertaining evening, as these leaders receive the industry’s most prestigious honor.”

The Induction Journal offers two placement opportunities. The Gold section features full-page, four-color advertisements for $2,000, and the Silver section offers full-page, black-and-white ads for $1,000.

In addition, a variety of other sponsorship opportunities are still available for the gala, ranging from $10,000 Platinum sponsorships, which include a Journal ad, one table of 10 seats with preferred seating for the event dinner, and public recognition during the celebration; to $2,500 sponsorships, which include a Journal ad, two event tickets, and a logo on the event video and website.

The Induction Celebration will be held October 15 at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons, with former Secretary of State Colin Powell delivering the keynote address. The retired U.S. general has held senior military and diplomatic positions across four presidential administrations. The legendary Grammy-Award winning The Fifth Dimension will provide entertainment.

The 2017 inductees into the Hall of Fame are Donald H. Flanders, Sr., founder and chairman of Lloyd Flanders, Inc.; Vladimir Kagan, contemporary furniture designer; Samuel Kuo, cofounder and chairman of Samson Holding Ltd.; and Bernard D. Moray, chairman of Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design.
