Luxury motion upholstery specialist Bradington-Young reports that it will expand its offering of leather motion with a selection of luxury groups that are city-scaled for apartment living to appeal to consumers who are opting for smaller living spaces. The collection of motion sofas and sectionals, Bradington-Young’s first venture into smaller-scaled motion, will be available in the company’s broad leather offering. The city-scaled frames feature clean designs that address classic styling and deliver reclining function.

“The growing trend of smaller living spaces has created demand for smartly scaled furniture, and we’ve got it,” said Craig Young, president of Bradington-Young. “Consumers who are turning toward smaller living environments don’t want to miss out on the comfort and function that Bradington-Young delivers. Our new designs are perfect for providing reclining comfort in a smaller footprint.”

The Loewy Sofa features boxed seat and back cushions and a seamless arm. Stylish controls allow for an uninterrupted silhouette. The Pauley Sofa provides three-over-three seating with a cutaway roll arm design that is accentuated with nail head trim. The frame rests atop block legs. Dixon, also a three-over-three frame, offers a curved track arm and subtle wings. The off-the-floor design features tapered wood legs.

Sofas in the collection are approximately 80 inches in length. Each of the designs have stylish controls that allow for clean silhouettes and are available as a sofa, sectional, loveseat and recliner.

In addition to the city-scaled designs, the company is introducing another luxury motion design including a generously-sized reclining upholstery group. A traditional English roll-arm design, Sidney features nail head trim and exposed wood block feet.

Additional High Point Market introductions include 16 recliners, two swivel chairs, four club chairs, five sofa groups and a cocktail ottoman.

Bradington-Young will keep up with this season’s leather trends and will also build on the success of its performance fabric program by introducing 12 fabrics to its lineup, expanding the full collection to 65.
