Robb & Stucky, a luxury design and home furnishings retailer, recently announced the opening of a new showroom at 1353 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, Fla. The two-story, 30,000 square-foot showroom – its fifth in the state – features more than 75 room settings from more than 30 signature brands.

The company also announced the hiring of Frank D’Angelis as general manager along with a talented team of more than 20 people consisting of veteran designers, cutgoods manager, CAD specialist, visual merchandiser, office and warehouse staff members. D’Angelis is an experienced retail manager with a successful career in luxury home furnishings, having served in top management positions at varied high-end furniture retailers.

As part of the grand opening festivities, Robb & Stucky is partnering with Bernhardt Interiors and Florida Design Magazine to present a free design seminar titled “Elevating Your Design Style,” from 6 pm to 8 pm November 9. The event will be moderated by Robin Hodes, Lifestyle & Design Editor, and will feature Roger Turnbow, Bernhardt Furniture VP Upholstery Merchandising; Mark Stuart, Robb & Stucky Creative Director; Gil Walsh, Gil Walsh Interiors; and Allison Paladino, Interior Design & Collections. The public may RSVP at www.robbstuckyintl.com/seminars/design-seminar/

“We are thrilled to open our new store in Boca Raton as part of Robb & Stucky’s commitment to meet a growing statewide demand for our luxury design services and home furnishings,” D’Angelis said.

The building was developed and designed by Matthew Kragh, AIA of MHK Architecture and Planning, an award-winning architectural firm with offices in Palm Beach County and Naples. Inspired by the coastal styles that reflect the local culture, the showroom’s timeless design embraces the community’s history while better positioning the city to meet the needs of Boca’s growing population, including the owners of the several thousand units that were recently added in its downtown and northwest corridors.

The showroom features luxury home furnishings from signature brands that the store’s design experts believe will be well-received in the local market, including American Leather, Bernhardt Interiors, Century, Chaddock, Marge Carson, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Phillips Collection, Stanley, Taylor King, Theodore Alexander, Vanguard and W. Schillig.
