Gold Bond Introduces First 8-Inch, Encased Coil Mattress To Futon Line

Sleep products manufacturer Gold Bond recently announced that it has developed its first 8-inch, encased coil mattress for its extensive futon line. The company is adapting technology that has become preferred in the mattress side of its business to make its futons more multifunctional than ever.

The 8-inch thick mattress delivers a comfortable seat for watching television or conversing, and then converts to provide a supportive night’s sleep with its encased coil mattress. To go along with the upgraded mattress, Gold Bond will also showcase two new upscale upholstery fabrics for its futon line.

Working with components supplier Leggett & Platt, Gold Bond developed the mattress so that it would open and close with ease on a futon frame.
