Furniture World News Desk on 1/30/2018

Marking its thirteenth year at The Design Center at the Merchandise Mart, Michael-Cleary recently relocated its showroom to feature an expanded product offering. The brand will increase its presence, moving from the fourteenth floor to Suite 6-102.

The additional 800-square-feet of space allowed for the addition of new products from Grag Studios, Esperanza Collection Lighting and Artisan Rugs, as well as expanded lines from Niermann Weeks, de Gournay, Keith Fritz Fine Furniture and Minton-Spidell.

“We are thrilled to continue to grow our long-standing relationship with the Design Center,” said Matt Costigan, owner at Michael-Cleary. “With over a decade of success within our Chicago showroom, we are excited to expand both our offerings and our presence to the region’s active design community.”

Beth Hicks, managing director, marketing for the Design Center and Casual Market Chicago said, “Michael-Cleary has been a cornerstone for the Design Center and a key resource for design professionals, providing stunning fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting, furniture and accessories for nearly fifteen years. We are delighted to witness Michael-Cleary’s continued growth.”

The first event in the new showroom will be held on January 24, 2018, when Michael-Cleary will host a reception for the Design Center’s Business of Design Lecture Series at 12:30 pm. A grand opening party is scheduled for March 2018.

The new Michael-Cleary showroom is located at 222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza, Suite 6-102.
