Ergomotion to Introduce Voice-Activated Adjustable Bases In Las Vegas

Sleep technology specialist Ergomotion announced that it will unveil products that seamlessly integrate with Amazon Alexa to provide voice-activation on its adjustable bases. The initiative will make its debut at the Winter Las Vegas Market Jan. 28 – Feb. 1. The inaugural technology launch will be incorporated into Ergomotion’s leading Motion Bedroom Furniture and Active Motion Base lines with plans to expand the technology throughout the entire product selection.
Amazon’s Alexa operates as a voice-controlled smart device that can manage a variety of tasks throughout the home, including playing music, checking the weather and now, through Ergomotion’s technology, help manage the sleep environment.
“Technology is impacting every aspect of our lives, and sleep is no different,” said Gui Peres, director of global sales for Ergomotion. “Through our unique innovation, we’ve developed technology that allows people to activate their adjustable bases with a few simple phrases. No remote that travels under the bed and becomes unreachable. No buttons to fumble with in the dark. Instead, our engineers have created voice activation to make base adjustments quick and easy; just as sleep should be.”
The four-model Contour collection in Ergomotion’s Active Motion Base category offers a variety of features including zero-gravity positioning, head and foot articulation, under bed lighting, and reprogrammable presets. The Element, part of the company’s Motion Bedroom Furniture collection that can be used with consumers’ existing beds, features three styles with a variety of features ranging from zero clearance to Bluetooth® capability to massage.
The Amazon Echo-enabled products will be available at Ergomotion’s Las Vegas Market showroom located at B-962.
