Chick-Fil-A's Lifeshape Executive to Keynote High Point Market Prayer Breakfast

Cox has served in leadership roles with three of Chick-Fil-A's philanthropic organizations since 2005, and currently heads Lifeshape.

Larry Cox, chief executive officer of Chick-Fil-A's Lifeshape, will keynote the 24th Annual Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast, expounding on the "servant leadership culture" at Chick-Fil-A, a culture he calls personally, professionally and spiritually "transformative."

"He Who Serves Best Profits Most," will be the message theme at the Prayer Breakfast, set for Friday, April 13, 2018, beginning at 7 AM and ending promptly at 8 a.m. in the Ballroom of the International Home Furnishings Center, located on the eleventh floor, (club level) of the Green Wing.

Cox has served in leadership roles with three of Chick-Fil-A's philanthropic organizations since 2005, and currently heads Lifeshape, which offers service and mission opportunities around the world and in local communities for Chick-Fil-A's corporate employees and owner-operators. Chick-Fil-A's philanthropic organizations give employees an opportunity to live out the company's passion for service, which in turn energizes the business enterprise, Cox said. "We're about engaging and developing people, and making our business relationships transformative, and not just transactional."

The local Chick-Fil-A restaurant will cater with chicken breakfast "minis" as part of the morning menu. The famous "Eat More Chicken" "Cow" will also be on hand to greet guests and offer photo opportunities.

Leading in music and worship at the breakfast will be HopeCity Music, a team of writers, singers, musicians and worshipers based in central North Carolina and led by Andy Peele.

In a special tribute, past Furniture Fellowship Chairmen Randy Austin, Rob Culp and Kevin O'Connor will be recognized for their profound service to the mission of the prayer breakfast, as they will be retiring from the Furniture Fellowship Board. Austin is a former top executive with Drexel Heritage and Hickory White; Culp founded Culp Inc. with his father and currently serves as Chairman, and O'Connor is a former top executive with Samson Marketing, and past chairman of the High Point Market Authority and City of Hope.

Cost of admission for the breakfast is $30.00 per ticket, which includes breakfast. You can purchase a table for 8 people for $240, and a half-table of 4 people for $120. Participants and companies are encouraged to be General Breakfast Sponsors, making a contribution of $100, $250, $550 or more.
