International Market Centers recently announced that comedian Jeff Foxworthy will visit Spring High Point Market, April 14 – 18, to launch The Jeff Foxworthy Home Collection for Man Wah Cheers (FP 410), joining a noteworthy list of new and expanded showrooms in International Market Centers’ Main Street properties.

Jeff FoxworthyMan Wah representatives describe the Jeff Foxworthy Home Collection as representative of an alliance “formed around common values, including respect for well made, attractively priced products that resonate with the lifestyles of everyday Americans.”

“We are extremely excited and proud to be launching the Jeff Foxworthy Home Collection at the upcoming High Point Market,” said Guy Ray, CEO of Man Wah USA. “The fact that this is the first time that Jeff is taking his name into the home furnishings arena makes this launch all the more special. And this is also marks the first time that Man Wah has taken on a consumer brand through a licensing agreement.”

Foxworthy noted that the partnership with Man Wah Cheers aligned with his personal and professional philosophies.

“While I am perhaps best known for my comedy, I was extremely impressed with Man Wah on many levels,” Foxworthy said. “In addition to building products that are good looking, comfortable and priced right, the company has earned the respect of retailers and consumers for quality, integrity and trust, all qualities that are equally important to me.”

Centrally located in the heart of High Point Market, Main Street properties include Furniture Plaza, Plaza Suites, and the National Furniture Mart. For Spring Market 2018, new and expanded and/or relocated showrooms include: Man Wah Cheers, Canal Dover (PS412), Amax Leather (FP215); Chintaly Imports (FP214); Global Home (PS410); Decor-Rest (PS212); and Moto Sleep (NFM9).

“We moved to Plaza Suites primarily to double our presence in High Point and now we are able to display all our lifestyle collections in one centrally located showroom,” said Angelo JR Marzilli, president of Decor-Rest. “Being easy to get to during Market helps a lot as dealers are usually pressed for time.”

Decor-Rest is launching new motion upholstery and dining collections for Spring Market. Marzilli said that the introductions reemphasize the company’s growth.

“For dealers looking for fashion, quality and service, we will help them stand out,” he said. “We are a family owned company since 1972 and our team of 300+ employees build solid construction, well-designed furniture that is made to last. We encourage dealers to stop by and walk our space; the value in the product will speak for itself.”

“We are one of the only completely vertically integrated furniture manufactures in the world,” said Jack Copley, director with HHC/Moto Group. “All components of our finished goods are manufactured in house with the exception of fabric. We pride ourselves on our continued innovation in adjustable beds, recliners, and furniture components.”

Powell is celebrating the company’s 50th year of business with a Golden 50th Anniversary Cocktail Party on Friday the 13th of April from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. According to company officials, Powell will offer many “golden” specials during Spring Market.

Powell will be coming out with a “Craft Beer” themed collection this market and to bring the whole experience together, we are joining with a couple of local craft breweries and will have genuine craft beer tastings in the showroom daily from 4-6:30p.m.,” said Neely Jo Peck, merchandising manager. “These breweries will offer a couple of different types of beer a day for customers to sip on while they shop the collection.”

“The Main Street Properties are a crucial part of High Point Market,” said Julie Messner, senior vice president of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing for International Market Centers (IMC). “Along with our newest tenants who have joined the Main Street Properties team, these staple buildings are home to many name-brand popularly-priced lines including Jackson Catnapper, La-Z-Boy, Southern Motion, Steve Silver, Pride Mobility, Jofran, Kuka Home, Cozzia, England, and A.R.T.
