Get a sneak peak at the new New TruPetite Ultimate Power Recliner at High Point Market
Mega Motion, LLC, a subsidiary of Pride Mobility Products Corporation, recently announced that it will be unveiling a TruPetite version of its premium Ultimate Power Recliner line at the April High Point Furniture Market in Furniture Plaza Showroom 100 (located in the pass-through between the La-Z-Boy Showroom and the Plaza Suites). The company claims it will be the first “true” petite size power recliner with lift feature designed for a small statured person to sit comfortably with their feet in contact with the floor.
While most lift chairs labeled “petite,” “junior petite” or “small” have floor-to-top-of-seat heights of 19 inches to as much as 23 inches high, Mega Motion’s new TruPetite will feature a lower profile with a floor-to-top-of-seat height of just 17.5 inches.
TruPetite chairs will feature:
- The same level of comfort as other Ultimate Power Recliners with full scale seating and the same foam cushion depth.
- Lower seat height (17.5”) for easier entrance and exit from the recliner
- Full power recline and lift mechanism
- Performance fabric options
- Convenient USB port in Hand Wand controller
- Side storage pockets on both sides of chair
- Maximum weight of 375 pounds
- EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) standard partsIntegrated emergency battery backup
“Improving the quality of one’s life is a major goal of Mega Motion,” stated Dwight Hardison, Director of Operations for Mega Motion. “We know there are many small statured people that have not been able to experience a level of comfort that suits their needs, plus they feel less in control when their feet are not in contact with the floor. Unlike many other small chairs that feature reduced seat cushioning, our TruPetite model addresses these requirements for full support and comfort, as we do in all of our Mega Motion models.”
“The TruPetite will help round-out the Ultimate Power Recliner line for furniture retailers,” said Joe Showfety, Sales Manager for Mega Motion. “There will now be an Ultimate Power Recliner available for virtually everyone.”
TruPetite Ultimate Power Recliners will be manufactured domestically and be distributed out of Mega Motion’s four warehouse locations around the country to ship same day or next day to retail customers.
At High Point Market, the company will also display Mega Motion lift-recliners, its premium Ultimate Power Recliner line and Rascal Mobility scooters.
