Furniture First Launches Mobile Market App

Furniture First reports that it has launched a mobile app for the High Point Market. The app, which is available for phones in the iTunes and Google Play stores, is a password-protected directory of Furniture First-approved partners at the High Point Market. A separate app serves as a directory of Furniture First-approved partners at the Las Vegas Market.

“We beta-tested at the Las Vegas Market,” said David McCullough, Furniture First’s on-staff website developer and manager. “Response was good, so we decided to move forward with the full version for the High Point Market.”

The app indexes Furniture First’s approved partners by their merchandise category or service type. It also includes links to market specials that are available to Furniture First members, as well as the Instagram feed that the Furniture First merchandising staff posts to during market. An integrated message board will allow members to communicate on the fly at market.

“Our members tell us that they shop our vendors first at market. We want to make it easy for them to do so,” said Andrew Kauffman, CEO of Furniture First. “Every market our staff verifies the showroom locations and product offerings from our 100+ manufacturer partners and 60+ service partners. We use this information to create a directory that is sent to all the buyers within Furniture First.”
