Customatic Changes Name to “Customatic Technologies”

Customatic Adjustable Bedz, a retail solutions provider dedicated to the advancement of technology in home products, is changing its name to Customatic Technologies to better reflect its growth through driving innovation and designs for the home.

“Our new name – Customatic Technologies –emphasizes our broadening product line as we expand in and out of the bedroom,” said Phil Sherman, president of Customatic Technologies. “Since our founding eight years ago, we’ve stretched beyond adjustable bases and mattresses to bring innovative products to market for other rooms of the home. Our entire team is driven by technology and the mission to incorporate creative solutions into our product lineup. Customatic Technologies better addresses who we are as a company today.”

Over the last two years, the company has introduced a number of products designed to work outside of the bedroom, including its Room Caddie and the P3 Power Pack and most recently its power adjustable outdoor furniture. The Room Caddie, a fully equipped universal end table designed to manage clutter, features built-in USB and AC ports for charging mobile devises, an LED reading light and an adjustable tray table. The P3 Power Pack is a rechargeable battery pack that gives retailers versatility and accessibility in displaying powered products anywhere power is needed, and also provides consumers an easy-to-carry power source for outdoor activities and emergency power outages.

Customatic recently named a senior electrical and project engineer to its design team as it makes the shift toward a technology company.
