Las Vegas Market Expands Seasonal & Gift Presentations

Las Vegas Market announced that its seasonal and gift presentation will expand for Summer 2018 Market with major showroom renewals, relocations and expansions, as well as a remerchandising of Floor C7 to create an exclusive showcase of the category’s leading suppliers. Summer 2018 Las Vegas Market is July 29 to August 2, 2018.
“Las Vegas Market is revamping C7 to support growth by existing anchor tenants and to address increased demand from renewing, expanding and relocating suppliers,” said Leanna John, Director of Leasing, International Market Centers. “We are remerchandising to improve both the quantity and quality of seasonal and gift merchandise and grouping similar resources together to deliver a more cohesive category presentation.”
Since 2012, the Market has experienced a 223% increase in gift buyer attendance and a 240% increase in seasonal buyer attendance. In connection with these gains, and related increases in buyer demand for these resources, Las Vegas Market’s seasonal and gift category has been steadily expanding. For the Summer 2018 Market, some 32,000 square feet of furniture and home décor showrooms now located on C7 will be relocated to accommodate 32,000 square feet of remerchandised showrooms – opening, expanding and relocating –for Summer Market 2018.
For Summer Market, C7 anchor K&K Interiors is relocating and expanding by 20%, to 12,500 square feet. Special T Imports also is doubling its existing C7 showroom to 3,054 square feet for the Summer Market. In addition to these expansion, C7 also houses a plethora of well-known providers of gifts and seasonal merchandise, including: Adams & Co.; C & F Enterprises; Creative Co-Op, D B Imports, Ltd.; Designs Combined, Inc.; F.T. Renner Company; Galt International Company, Inc.; Oak Street Wholesale, Inc.; Option 2/Walpert/Silver Tree; Pacific Legend; Port to Port Import/Export; SPI Home & Garden; Tayse Rugs; VIP International; and Wholesale Home Décor.
In addition, five leading seasonal and gift suppliers are renewing their showrooms on Floors C8 and C9 for Summer Market. Renewals on C8 are Accessories Now, in 2,120 square feet and Burton & Burton in 10,117 square feet. Renewals on C9 are Honey & Me in 1,100 square feet; Melrose International in 6,756 square feet; and Thompson Candle Company in 1,610 square feet.
