Design Center at the Merchandise Mart Celebrates NeoCon 50

The Design Center at theMART recently announced its expanded programming at NeoCon for the trade show’s 50th edition. In response to industry trends around the confluence of residential and commercial design, Design Center showrooms will showcase contract-grade products that illustrate what’s new and next to attendees of the world’s largest and most anticipated annual commercial design conference.
“Exhibiting the latest trends, products and educational programs from around the world, NeoCon encompasses all that is new in the contract design world while forecasting what’s to come,” said Merchandise Mart Senior Vice President Susan McCullough. “This is highlighted in Design Center’s participation this year, underscoring the merging of products created for residential and commercial applications.”
Showrooms at Design Center offer the largest collection of luxury furniture, fabrics, floor coverings, wall coverings and lighting under one roof. During NeoCon, floors 6 and 14 of theMART will be open to conference attendees, members of the trade and industry professionals, with many showrooms featuring commercial-grade lines and products.
On Tuesday, June 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Design Center floors 6 and 14 will host NeoCon attendees with live music and sparkling wine during its Toast to Fine Design event. Showrooms will offer extended hospitality, including open houses, product launches and refreshments.
