ZUO Opens Larger Dallas Showroom

Furniture World News Desk on 12/7/2016

Dallas Market Center, the home décor marketplace, has recently announced that ZUO is expanding into new showroom space opening January 2, 2017.

ZUO is relocating from the Trade Mart into a 3,500 s.f. showroom to World Trade Center 504 in order to offer a wider selection of lighting, indoor and outdoor furniture, mirrors, home accents and rugs. The new space will provide space for year-round service to the design trade, which continues to visit Dallas Market Center in record numbers. Each month more than 2000 members of the interior design community visit Dallas Market Center and in order to serve this important customer base, the new ZUO showroom will be open Monday through Friday.

Customers will have the opportunity to work with showroom manager Clay Kulcak and local sales representative Josh Caballero. Kulcak has worked as part of the ZUO visual merchandising team for the past 3 years and understands all details of the vast 3000 SKU product line. Sales representative Caballero has been with ZUO for one year and recently received the 2016 ZUO Salesman of the Year award. The company’s dedicated staff and passion for their clients has resulted in more sales growth in the region served by Dallas Market Center than all other territories combined. This exponential growth is in part why the company decided to move to the World Trade Center and to be open daily.

“As our company continues to expand and serve a wider customer base, we are very excited to open a new showroom in Dallas,” said Luis Ruesga, CEO of ZUO. “I can’t wait to see what visual merchandising director John Perez has in store for the design as we launch our Pure 2017 Lighting and Accents Collection. We are all eager to see the response to this new India artisan-crafted collection. To support the new showroom, our marketing team has created a full schedule of design events and cocktail hours throughout the year including special discounts to local trade clients. This way designers can see and touch our products and talk with our Dallas team. From all of the ZUO family we look forward to seeing everyone soon.”

“We are proud to support companies like ZUO and their dramatic growth,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This is a company that hits all the right notes: great new products, fantastic showroom design, energetic team members and great customer service. We look forward to working with them for a very successful 2017.”

ZUO visual merchandising director John Perez will use the additional square footage for more of the popular Modern & Era product collections; in addition, the new Pure 2017 Lighting collection will feature an industrial luxe aesthetic with gold tones and warm greys. The visual team plans on beginning the 2017 show season with a fresh look for to entice new and existing buyers.
