Surya Wins AmericasMart Visual Merchandising Award

Surya recently announced that each market, Americasmart Atlanta honors the best in showroom merchandising and display with its semi-annual Visual Display Awards. The honors are given out to both permanent and temporary showrooms as well as window displays at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market and the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, which was held January 10-17. Surya was awarded a Visual Design award for permanent showrooms on Floor 11 in Building 1.

Surya showcased four major lifestyle trends for 2017, setting up each in a stylishly appointed lifestyle vignette. Featuring a selection of some of the most popular looks in home decor, the vignettes provided design inspiration and highlighted how Surya products can be combined to create coordinated spaces. Surya recently redesigned the showroom to allow for more space its expanding lighting collection. Surya raised the height of the front windows for better visibility into the showroom to help showcase its trends vignettes and attract passers by. Trend vignettes included Bespoke, Indigo Earth, Uptown Chic and Daydream.

The Surya showroom covers 15,000 square feet of space and is arranged for designers and buyers to easily navigate the Surya product line and all accessories categories, including rugs, lighting, bedding, pillows, throws accent furniture, and wall decor.
