Classy Art Names New VP

Furniture World News Desk on 7/20/2017

Classy Art, a manufacturer of wall décor, recently announced its most recent hire Blake Johnson as the company’s Vice President. The company has sustained double digit growths every year since 2005, including 52% in 2016, and this acquisition is an essential part of the growth strategy to minimize any growth pains.

Blake, formerly with Hinkle Chair, a manufacturer of outdoor rocker furniture, brings a wide array of experience from working with independent furniture retailers as well as his big box expertise. “I’ve spent years watching Classy Art grow at incredible rates, because of the high energy owners, and I am just fired up to now be a part of it. The passion and enthusiasm they have is electric and quite contagious. It shows in the culture amongst all the company’s employees.” (Blake Johnson, Classy Art, Vice President)

In his new role Mr. Johnson will be handling a vast array of responsibilities and offer an external perspective on all company systems and policies. “We are so excited to have Blake come on board with us. He is a longtime friend, and now he is part of the Classy Art family. Many people say not to mix friends or family with business, however, Henry Ford said, ‘A business that makes nothing but money is a poor company’, and Mr. Ford didn’t do too bad for himself, so we will take his advice.” (Gabriel Cohen, Classy Art, President)

More About Classy Art: Classy Art is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1987 by Biatriz and Isaac Cohen. What began as manufacturing a single size product in a single frame has since developed in to one of the leader sources for all types of wall hangings/décor. As a one-stop shop for retailers, Classy Art offers framed prints, framed and unframed canvases, mirrors, metal and wood wall décor, and several types of displays. The company’s strengths lay in its dedication to the furniture retail channel, and it has built the company products, policies, and procedures around the needs of those retailers.
