Eclipse International To Introduce “Conformatic Line” In Las Vegas To Highlight New Systemwide Quality Procedures

Furniture World News Desk on 7/24/2017

Eclipse International recently announced that the newest additions to its Conformatic Collection will be manufactured by the company’s 17 U.S. licensees under the guidelines of the company’s recently introduced standard of operating procedures (SOP). Eclipse recently added a quality control executive to its team, and this marks the company’s first product rollout under the new strategy.

“Because of our commitment to our SOP and quality inspection, we’re the first licensing group that will be run more like a wholly owned company,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and CEO of Eclipse International. “Our network of dedicated U.S. licensees will all be manufacturing our well-designed collections following the exact same specifications. The retailer in Boston can be confident in knowing that the same mattress model in a store in Phoenix is manufactured to the same specifications Today’s consumers are very mobile and move place to place. If you love a mattress, you should be able to find the same comfort throughout the country.”

One of the challenge mattress manufacturers with a licensing structure face is delivering and maintaining consistent, quality product in the marketplace. Eclipse’s quality assurance portfolio and SOP will ensure that consistency.

Industry veteran Russ Bowman recently joined Eclipse’s parent company, Bedding Industries of America, to oversee quality assurance across the entire organization. The three-model addition to Eclipse’s popular hybrid Conformatic Collection is the first introduction to come under the umbrella of the new structure.
While the additions to the Conformatic Collection mark the inaugural collection to the follow the company’s SOP, the strategy will be rolled out to future product introductions.

The new mattress styles include Bliss, Serene Plush and Serene Firm. Bliss features a pillowtop construction and will retail at $999. Serene Plush will retail at $899 and comes with a Euro pillowtop. Serene Firm will retail at $799. These new styles, along with the rest of the Conformatic line, are endorsed by the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations.

The Conformatic Collection is a pocketed coil group and features Eclipse’s patented Spinal Zone Support System together with gel foams for a cooler sleep surface.

“We continue to invest in our overall licensing framework to build a strong network of successful partners and ensure a consistent brand story,” Carlitz said. “This new national program will drive significant business to our licensees, a capstone of our successful business model.”

The Conformatic Collection in its entirety, along with Eclipse’s extensive line of other mattress collections, can be seen at the company’s Las Vegas showroom located at B-1118 in the World Market Center. The Summer Las Vegas Market will take place from Sunday, July 30 to Thursday, Aug. 3.
