Charleston Forge recently announced that it was honored by the American Society of Furniture Designers with the Pinnacle Award for Best Casual Dining design at their annual awards banquet at the High Point Furniture Market, October 16th.

The Calico Bay Dining Collection was introduced at the April 2017 High Point Market as part of Charleston Forge's Jarrett Bay Home Collection. Calico Bay was expanded to include an occasional collection for the October Market.

The collection was designed by Charleston Forge's lead product designer, Wilson Keel, and built at the company's Boone, North Carolina factory. The legs for the collection are hand forged by long-time employee, Ellis Cable, pictured above with Wilson.

The dining collection was one of two Charleston Forge products that were finalists for Pinnacle Awards. The Emmitt Lounge Chair and Ottoman were finalists in the Leather Upholstery category. Like the Calico Bay Collection, the Emmitt was also designed by Wilson.
