Las Vegas Market Intensifies Furniture Leasing Activity

Furniture World News Desk on 12/10/2017

Las Vegas Market announced recently that furniture leasing activity continues to grow, with more than 30 new, expanded and renewed showrooms – representing a combined total of more than 190,000 square feet confirmed for the Winter 2018 Las Vegas Market, January 28-February 1, 2018.

“Las Vegas Market continues to occupy a dominant position within the furniture industry, offering unparalleled access to a large and well-established furniture buyer base,” said Scott Eckman, President of Furniture & Home Décor Leasing, Chief Strategy Officer, International Market Centers. “The Market also attracts a unique West Coast buyer base as 90% of the buyers who come to Las Vegas Market do not attend High Point Market. Additionally, interior designer attendance continues to grow as well.”

Eckman said that the diversity of product lines in the furniture, home décor and gift categories is attracting new buyers, and subsequently, new exhibitors.

Las Vegas Market Intensifies Furniture Leasing“As Las Vegas Market continues to expand its buyer audience, furniture and bedding leasing efforts are also intensifying with existing tenants expanding and renewing showroom commitments, and more newcomers joining the Market for the first time,” he said.
