Najarian Furniture Appoints Excecutive VP of Operations, National Sales VP

California-based case goods manufacturer, Najarian Furniture reports that it has promoted Michael Lawrence to the role of Executive Vice-President of Operations and engaged Carlos Dominguez to the position of National Sales Vice President.

Lawrence, who has been with the company since 1999, was previously the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. With this appointment, he will oversee daily operations, marketing initiatives, forecasting, supply chain management, as well as work with key accounts and execute strategic plans.

Dominguez will join the Najarian Furniture team with 36 years of experience in both case goods and upholstery. Having worked most recently with case goods and upholstery importer and manufacturer New Classic Home Furnishings, Dominguez also held posts with E.J. Lauren, Guildcraft, Klaussner Home Furnishings, and Ashley Furniture.

In his new position, Dominguez will work alongside the Najarian executive team and will report to Najarian Furniture President, Mike Najarian. Responsibilities will include overseeing sales team leadership as well as contributing to marketing and business strategies.

With an optimistic 2.9% annual growth rate expected in home furnishings sales through 2019 (as published in Furniture Today), Najarian Furniture, is strategically positioning itself for growth by placing proven professionals in key leadership roles, initiatives to broaden their product line, as well as account based projects.

Along with his key responsibilities, Dominguez will focus on expanding Najarian Furniture’s business within their existing dealer network, the expansion of its sales team in under-served
markets, as well as support the identification of new strategies and growth opportunities.
