Furniture Brands International announced that Chip Stewart has been appointed as the new Vice President, Sales of Drexel Heritage. In this position, Mr. Stewart will be responsible for all sales activities and the sales organization at Drexel Heritage.
Mr. Stewart has been a Regional Sales Manager within the company since 2009. While serving at Lane Furniture, Mr. Stewart was responsible for sales and the sales team in the Mid-Atlantic region. He earned the Regional Sales Manager of the year for Lane Furniture in 2010.
Prior to Furniture Brands, most recently Mr. Stewart served as Regional Vice President for La-Z-Boy Incorporated. He has an extensive history of sales experience in the furniture industry, also having worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility for Riverside Furniture, Benchcraft Furniture and Simmons Company.
