Denver Mattress Company (DMC) and Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) announced that their charity campaign this holiday season raised $266,512 for those in need.
From November 11th to the 24th, DMC pledged to match every dollar donated to the 63 participating rescue missions, with a $2,500 cap per market. $116,512 donations in all were made and there was a large increase in individual organizations meeting their match goal. Though the missions did not reach the original cap of $150,000 that DMC pledged to match, DMC has decided nonetheless to generously donate the entire amount to the AGRM.
Carole Murphrey, Executive Director of the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in Corpus Christi where they raised $9,973, said, "What an incredible gift! We are so grateful for the opportunity that [DMC has] provided each year. This helps to make a sweet ending to a very tough year."
