Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way* Receives Overwhelming Support

The Unfinished Furniture Association (UFA) announces the introduction of its Brand Awareness Campaign- Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way*. The Campaign includes a certification program designed to strengthen the real wood industry and set standards for unfinished furniture products. Retailers, manufacturers and sales representative each have their own criteria, which they must abide by and fully support. Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way* originated in September of 2000 at a manufacturers steering committee meeting in an effort to create a general understanding of the value of Real Wood Furniture and clearly identify the value of its products and services. “Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way* places UFA certified members in an exclusive group of companies within the industry and across the country,” expressed Pat McNamara, Campaign Task Force volunteer. “This campaign establishes a foundation we can build on.” The Campaign was officially introduced at the 2002 UFA National Convention & Trade Show in Denver, Colorado earlier this summer. Retailers, manufacturers and sales representatives that specialize in providing Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way* have shown overwhelming support for the new program. In fact, more than companies have already become founding members of the program and are on their way to becoming Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way* certified.
