International Furniture Fair in São Bento do Sul

According to a research did by the "Furniture Industry Union Labor" (Sindimobil), 95% of the export industries are favorable to an International Furniture Fair aiming at the foreign market. "Promosul" only needed that statistic to confirm the event. It was planned to be held in March 2001. The businessmen that are organizing this international fair, the first that will be held in Santa Catarina, have already assumed a compromise to start the business during "Móvel Brazil 2000". They want to decide the strategies and motivate the participation of the exporters. The president of "Promosul", Frank Bollmann (Tuper Group), Álvaro Weiss (Artefama – the biggest furniture exporter of the country) and Pedro Pamplona (vice-president of Abimóvel) made the official announcement of the International Fair, which doesn't have a definite name.
