WHFA Meeting Has 60 Year Tie To Host Sandberg Furniture

The Western Home Furnishings Association will launch the 2004 “Solutions” Interactive Network Meeting series with long-time association supporter, Sandberg Furniture as the host location. Sandberg Furniture’s support of the association is traced back 60 years to the very beginning of the association as one of the very first advertisers and has been an active supporter ever since. “We are very proud of our 60+ year relationship with WHFA, and are very pleased to be hosting this great LA retailer event.” explains John Sandberg, Sandberg Furniture, Los Angeles CA. The Solutions Meetings are held through out the year in various Western cities, with the kick-off meeting held Tuesday January 13, 2004, at the Sandberg manufacturing facility, 5685 Alcoa, Los Angeles CA. The meeting format is an open discussion of challenges that retailers face everyday. Topics include: Trends in sales management, Proven management Ideas, Compensation planning and Performance evaluation and management. The networking lunch meeting will be facilitated by Bill Dugan, Managing Director of Profit Groups and, retailer host will be Larry Miller, Sit N’Sleep, Carson, CA. The event is open to all retailers and home furnishings industry professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area, registration fee is $25 per person and includes lunch. Registration begins at 11am, the meeting begins at 11:30am, followed by a facilities tour at 2:30pm.
