CFMA Golf Tournament Set for January 21 , 2000

The California Furniture Manufacturers Association has announced that its annual Golf Tournament fund-raiser for the year 2000 will take place January 21, at the Los Angeles, Royal Vista Golf Course in Walnut, California. CFMA President Larry Parnell, president of Oakwood Interiors, said the annual event has grown bit, and bigger with each new year and expects the 2000 tournament to be a record breaker. Two hundred and forty golfers participated in last years successful game, which was followed by dinner and a live auction. This years program will have a similar agenda, and hopefully the same clear blue skies as well. Former Los Angeles Dodger, Tommy Davis, will be the master of ceremonies at the dinner and auction. Fantastic hole-in-one prizes including a new car will be given away, net and gross trophies will be awarded in each of the four flights and winners of the longest drives and closest to the pins will also receive special honors. Each golfer will receive tee gifts and everyone will have a chance to win fantastic raffle prizes.
