The presentation of the Meadoff award, the year presented by Gail Meadoff's son Jordon was presented to Lou Massood and that was followed by the announcement by Andy Gans of the Jerry Gans Memorial Award recipient for 2004 to Simon Kaplan. Six months ago our entire board sat around our board table and decided that we had to honor Alan Rosenberg's memory..First we named the outing in his memory & then established the Circle of Commitment to continue the work that was started by Jeff Kohen when the Alan Rosenberg Memorial Fund for Cancer Research was established, we wanted to take it to the next step. We presented the Rosenberg Family, Helene, Stacey, David and Andy a check for 12,800.00 and we received an additional $2000.00 last evening bringing the total to $14,800.00. 100% of those proceeds are going to the Fidelity Charity Gift Fund. The association will continue to raise funds for this important cause, and we wanted to let everyone in the industry to know what a wonderful day the 17th of May was, we thank all of you who attended and know that those of you who missed Monday's event missed a glorious day!
